Above is a picture of a close resemblence of what my furniture looks like. I really like them, but I also want a modern look. I am 26. I was wanting to paint one wall also. What colors would be pleasing to the eye with that furniture for the one wall and other things in my bedroom. (i.e. bedspread, curtains, etc.) I was thinking red….what do you think?
Thanks! ![]()
Edit: If I were to choose the lighter green. Should the paint on the wall be light green and the bedsheets dark green or vice versa?

Red will keep you up at night dear. Try a modern steel-blue or a lighter green. Both soothing and modern. The steel-blue looks fabulous with antique furniture!

It’s dark. So I would go with a light vibrant color, like blue or yellow.

You can try painting with green, or a lighter shade of green. You can also try silver or metally looking color.
I think yellow and white is a nice youthful sunny look, will lighten up the dark furniture too. Accent with a medium green. Maybe the wall a soft yellow, white curtains with lace, tie back on the curtains in green, etc.
